Our leadership team is dedicated to advancing the mission and vision of the Tennessee Community Health Workers Association. Led by our Executive Director, our board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise in community and healthcare institutions across Tennessee. They are committed to supporting and empowering Community Health Workers (CHWs) individually and as a profession through advocacy, training, and networking opportunities. Nikayla Boyd, Ed.D, is the first Executive Director for TNCHWA. She has over 10 years of experience managing and designing CHW programs and leading teams of CHWs in community and healthcare institutions in Tennessee. Additionally, she is an active member of the National Association of Community Health Workers and the Southeast Community Health Worker Association.
